Angelisa has recently received her Associates degree at CCSF. She is taking the year off to apply to Universities and work on her portfolio. Angelisa is 21 years-old and the first in her immediate family to attend college. She has interned at Common Sense Media and now works as an assistant video editor, as well as a filmmaker for BAVC Productions.
Amy is student studying graphic design and web development. She loves working in a creative team environment to develop these skills and ultimately become a “Jill of all trades” in the tech industry. BAVC gives her opportunities such as career workshops, internships and courses to help achieve her career goals. She now uses her academic and BAVC experience to help Bridges students reach their career goals as a Bridges program mentor.
Tammy is a City College San Francisco student majoring in Graphic Design and Communications. During her time in Bridges, Tammy enrolled in the Digital Pathways video production course. Tammy interned with Couchsurfing, a volunteer-based worldwide network connecting travelers with members of local communities, who offer free accommodation and advice, as a Media Projects Intern in the Summer of 2012. After completing her internship, Tammy was offered a part time position that led to a full time Production Coordinator position after six months with the company.
Desmond Holt (DB1) is what some might call an autodidactic designer. Prior to multimedia at City College, he cultivated his path to mastery through independent study. His work utilizes multiple disciplines, from sound design to 3D motion graphics, to build brands for local Bay Area musicians. At age 27, DB1 has over 10 years of experience working with marginalized individuals to produce meaningful and impactful music.
